Building a new children's publishing brand.

This startup came to Deb with the name Amicus already selected, so she developed a brand strategy that associates the name with its English translation: friend. The Scottie dog—a best friend with a tenacious attitude and a great ability to dig (for information, in this case)—provides kid appeal and memorability. The identity was also designed to be modular, allowing flexibility and variety as the company develops and grows. In addition to concept and design of all of elements shown, Deb wrote headlines and marketing copy—including the tagline, "Friend of education. Friend for life." The most recent addition is the Amicus ecommerce website.
